Extra Long Honjo Fenders and Chrome Racks Arrive

A big tractor trailer pulled up an hour ago and disgorged hundreds of Honjo extra long fenders, chrome plated racks and Nitto parts. It'll take us most of the day to unpack all this stuff, but we'll be getting everything up on the web site soon. More details and photos later.

I know this is jumping the gun a bit, but are you planning on offering chromed versions of the porteur and courier racks as well? If so, when might these be available?

Disgorged? Nice visual.

Anyway, any Honjos for 26 inch wheels?

Hooray! Send them along. The Riv awaits proper fendering.

Great - excited about the chrome racks (we met last week as myself and my other half perused Velo Orange). I think I'll be going with the smaller rack for the lil beast (Surly X-check).

Matthew, I don't know if chromed porteur racks will be available. It depends on demand. If we go with the Japanese factory we need to place a big order, so I'd like to see how the stainless versions sells first.

Anon, No 26" Honjos this time, last time we stocked them no one wanted them. I think the new 650B VO fenders will also fit 26" though.

what is the carrying capacity of the porteur rack? I'm not going to sit on it, but I would like to load it up and use it functionally.... is it capable of safely carrying the heavy stack of newspapers it was originally designed for?

Yann, We didn't do any destruction tests, but when my 8-year old sat on the porteur rack it didn't break.

That's a lot of Nitto boxes. What's in them?
