Would love to stop by -- am just a bit too far away! Recently had the pleasure of spending an afternoon at Boules and Bersa in Stockholm -- definitely recommend it.
I passed on the wicker baker basket because I wasn't sure I would have a good place to store it when not in use. The photos remind me I could have figured something out.
I really like what you (or whomever) did with the rear fender on the basket bike. Looks good yet very practical.
Again, not a credible francophile photo without the lung darts. I have a bunch of wooden boat friends, and they all smoke pipes or cigarillos. I may have encouraged some of them.... M Burdge
Here in Indianapolis we play boce with Campy label balls. we will finish our fall league next week. 12 teams each night Monday, Tues Wed and Thurs. On hard pack sand courts 72x8 feet in our local park. Stop by and visit, bring your balls cause I wont let you play with mine. sort of like picking your friends nose. Visit Zipp, Don Walker and the NAHBS office, Joes Cycles and we will have a throw down.

You must challenge Electra to a game of boules, winner takes all!

Michael, As much as I love film, this blog is all digital.
Reverend Dick, Bocce is somewhat similar, but Italian and I think the rules are different. Plus, they drink grappa or some such thing.
Border line dorky, yet curiously compelling.

You guys play petanque? Too bad our Dubuque team can't challenge you way out on the coast.
