A Nice Porteur

This lovely Lee Cooper Porteur by Alex Hatfield won the Best Utility Bike category at the Bespoke Bristol show. Note all the VO parts, racks, bar, chain case, fenders, etc. Alex says, "Without Velo Orange it would have been a very difficult project to complete". The frame is designed to carry serious loads and handle properly while doing so.

I look those eraser colored tires, are those 650B or 700C?

The 26" x 1-3/8" tires are from CASUMINA, a Vietnamese company.

...any chance you'll be getting more of those porteur chainguards back in stock soon? I've notice they've been out of stock for a little while now. thanks.

650B is 584mm
650A is 590mm = 26x 1 3/8", aka, English Three Speed tires.

Not so fast, Garth. Remember Sheldon's (god rest his soul) first rule of wheel & tire sizing. Just look it up; it'd be too easy for me to tell you'all.

note the 3mm radius difference between 650 A and B tires, or tyres, if you will. Any 650b Fender will easily fit over a 26x1 3/8" tire.
