We just got an air shipment of Cigne Stems. You all have been wonderfully patient waiting for them. Find links to each of the styles below:
In addition to the Cigne Stems, we got in more cranksets and rings:
- 50.4 Cranksets in the 170 and 175 sizeways
- 50.4 Rings in 46T and 30T
- Drillium Cranksets in 175
- 48T Drillium Rings
Quick note, the adaptors for 1" threaded headsets are on order and are expected to arrive early-June.
Have a great weekend!
Is this the only shipment of Cignes' for the season or is there still a slow boat delivery for later. Don't want to miss out on ordering one before their sold out, but not the best time right now....
ReplyDelete@Brent Coe
ReplyDeleteLikely mid summer, but we generally try to keep them in stock.
I just received my 90mm noir stem, but I don't see any specs for torque for the steerer tube and bar clamp bolts. What's the recommended torque?
ReplyDeleteComment accidentally deleted from @thedrink:
ReplyDelete"Use the old Navy method: Tighten it until it strips, then back out a quarter of a turn... "
Is there an actual torque spec though? It seems like it requires more torque than expected to prevent the stem from rotating around the steerer.
ReplyDeleteI have been using your happy stem on a new frame and it is not quite right for this setup. Does the Cigne stem give any more rise? Is this the only way in to make contact?
ReplyDelete@ Coline
ReplyDeleteYes, the cinge stem has more rise then the happy stem. Please contact us via email
info AT velo-orange.com and we'd be pleased to email you photos of the stem with dimensions.
