Polyvalent MK2s are Available

The Polyvalent frames and mini build kits are now in the store. We are waiting for more 650b wheels so we can again offer the maxi build kits; we hope to have them in a couple of weeks.

Speaking of Polyvalents here is a lovely build by Hoopdriver.

Now for something really bizarre: VO will be testing a new carbon fiber component this fall. If all goes well we'll have it available in spring.

I bought some carbon fiber Modolo shift levers from Velo Orange in the early days. I have had them on my single speed for years. I trust them completely.

  5. Hoopdriver told of the pics to be posted of his build: very nice! Shame about the Paul cantis though, the Grand Cru cantis are sooo much better looking!

An unabashed plug: if you are in or near Toronto and you have a hankering for Velo Orange stuff, go see Martin at Hoopdriver Cycles on College, he has a huge selection of components. When I was there a few days ago to pick up a Diacompe front centrepull brake, I asked if he had a daruma bolt: he did. Not since "Bicycle Specialties" has there been a shop more likely to carry those oddball necessities!

  6. All joking aside, I'm excited to see what you will be offering in carbon fiber.
