The
Polyvalent frames and
mini build kits are now in the store. We are waiting for more 650b wheels so we can again offer the maxi build kits; we hope to have them in a couple of weeks.
Speaking of Polyvalents
here is a lovely build by Hoopdriver.
Now for something really bizarre: VO will be testing a new carbon fiber component this fall. If all goes well we'll have it available in spring.
re:VO carbon components
ReplyDeleteI bought some carbon fiber Modolo shift levers from Velo Orange in the early days. I have had them on my single speed for years. I trust them completely.
@calvin
ReplyDeleteyou trust them to shift your invisible gears?
@calvin- I want to like this comment....
ReplyDeleteIt's a carbon-fiber keychain, right? ;-)
ReplyDeleteHoopdriver told of the pics to be posted of his build: very nice! Shame about the Paul cantis though, the Grand Cru cantis are sooo much better looking!
ReplyDeleteAn unabashed plug: if you are in or near Toronto and you have a hankering for Velo Orange stuff, go see Martin at Hoopdriver Cycles on College, he has a huge selection of components. When I was there a few days ago to pick up a Diacompe front centrepull brake, I asked if he had a daruma bolt: he did. Not since "Bicycle Specialties" has there been a shop more likely to carry those oddball necessities!
All joking aside, I'm excited to see what you will be offering in carbon fiber.
ReplyDeletehere's a nice VO polyvalent porteur build for sale, very similar to the one chris just posted:
