an interview with some guy who's been in the boat and bike biz. 70.8% is actually a great blog that I've been reading for awhile. The interview with Steve Roberts, a couple of posts down is also worth reading. Check out the photo of his bike, named Behemoth.

ReplyDeleteNice interview, It's fun to know the "back story"! I also got a chuckle to your answer about similarities between VO & Rivendell. I love Rivendell, I own a Bridgestone XO-1 and I am contemplating and upgrade to a Riv., but I do get what you are saying with the tweady comment. Whenever I go to the Riv. web site, I keep expecting to see Jack Kerouac riding a Homer!! I say they definately know their audience and it certainly sucks me in for reasons I don't fully understand! ;-)

Is there a ball park price for the completes such as under $1500, $1500-$1999 or $2000+. Are there plans for rando or pass hunter completes as well?
ReplyDeleteVelo Orange was named after the bike that was in my living room the night we decided to start it.
ReplyDeleteThere are no ball park figures or even firm plans for complete bike cost. If we decide to build complete bikes we'll decide on a good build and the cost will be based on that.
