Oh wait, Zinn is a custom builder. Besides, lately the shop guys seem to be sizing bikes like they're MTBs -- I nearly had to snarl to get the local REI to let me try a Novara Transfer in Medium. It fit, but I'm a touch under 5 foot 6ix inches, and the frame sizes go down to XS. I'm somewhat surprised they got something that close to Mr. Obama's size -- and a 700c wheeled hybrid would be the best suspect for something you could adjust to fit a tall guy.

By the way, soon-to-be-former-President Bush had been getting gift Trek MTBs every year. Whatever the Great Trek Bicycle Making Company has in store for the incoming administration, I just KNOW bikesnobnyc is going to have fun with it.

As a final aside, did anyone else catch the fuss over on the ibob list when people thought the Carter's Rivendells had been nicked?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24415034.post-11983759056535406882009-01-19T15:59:00.000-05:002009-01-19T15:59:00.000-05:00No, Waterford would be a good choice (no dis to VO...No, Waterford would be a good choice (no dis to VO) the same as he won't be cruising around in a Prius.
