They work fine for me commuting on city streets, and I like the look. It isn't too easy to find a tanwall tire these days. This is a great tire for the price. Ride and enjoy!John Hurleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06366240442477357687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24415034.post-44470390920834673162014-01-22T13:27:17.809-05:002014-01-22T13:27:17.809-05:00@Al_H If that beautiful Pass Hunter were mine, I ...@Al_H If that beautiful Pass Hunter were mine, I would most likely run one of the Grand Bois or Challenge tires in the 29-32mm range. If forced to pick one, for that bike, I'd choose the Challenge Eroica 700x30 in the skinwall color. That tire is a screamer. You wont believe how fast you can corner with that tire. Whatever tires you choose, keep the rubber side down!bubbahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17200546574600759584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24415034.post-9773154015666509692014-01-22T12:14:01.477-05:002014-01-22T12:14:01.477-05:00@z-man If it's of any use to you...
I'm ...@z-man If it's of any use to you...

I'm 6'4" with long arms, legs and torso and was previously riding an 80's 25" frame as it was the best fit I've come across in a long time. Size was a bit of a worry when purchasing, but Scott in Velo Orange had a 59cm in the show room confirmed that the extra 2cm would work - the 61cm Pass Hunter fits like a dream. Glad you like the build so far, I'm really happy with how it's going - It's a beautiful frame.

Spot on with the 105 mech's front and back, along with the Grand Cru Drillium 110 Fluted Double Crankset, an SRAM 9 speed cassette and chain with Powerlock link and Ritchey Classic Curve handlebars, only because I'd run out of room to fit Chris's Rando bars in my luggage. But I'll be back in September to get those and some fenders. And probably a rear rack.

@Bubba, any recommendations on wider, faster, better looking and comfier tyres? The 23's are Vittoria Pro's that do great for the tarmac spins I have nearby and I find them quite comfortable and spritely (And I love the fact the walls match the type on the bike!), but I'll be upgrading wheelset and tyres come Spring/Summer, so any recommendations are welcome!Al_Hhttp://alsphotos.tumblr.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24415034.post-40484045253143401462014-01-21T14:02:38.456-05:002014-01-21T14:02:38.456-05:00Belo blogue!!!
