I realize it was posted over 6 years ago so things change. We just bought Brooks seats and are looking for covers that work and it seems like the Brooks saddle covers get mixed reviews.Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00325910181778963009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24415034.post-16720565186417460542012-08-27T08:42:19.783-04:002012-08-27T08:42:19.783-04:00The whole point of buying a Silca over the others ...The whole point of buying a Silca over the others is that it is servicable. Whatever is "broken" can be swapped out, Including the cylindar itself. There is no reason to ever replace a Silca.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24415034.post-1162502696099408332006-11-02T16:24:00.000-05:002006-11-02T16:24:00.000-05:00Hi Lesli,I think they will work on any saddle the ...Hi Lesli,

I think they will work on any saddle the same size as or smaller than a B-17.Velo Orangehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02835615331417822722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24415034.post-1162490362709300282006-11-02T12:59:00.000-05:002006-11-02T12:59:00.000-05:00Saddle covers look great. I have a Brooks cover and it actually seems to make the saddle MORE wet--holding moisture against the leather.

Any idea whether these covers would work with snub-nosed brooks pros-S saddles?

Also, I'd love a floor pump recommendation. My silca finally died and I've not had any luck with the different pumpheads available on modern models.Lesli Larsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13008748945065043600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24415034.post-1162315334599967542006-10-31T12:22:00.000-05:002006-10-31T12:22:00.000-05:00The Quicker Pro pumps will be around $30. In the test I read it reached 100psi in 100 strokes while the next best pump took 200 and the other 18 models required 300-500 strokes. It also pumps enough volume to work well with mountain bike tires. I'll post some photos and details after I try it a few times.Velo Orangehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02835615331417822722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24415034.post-1162312583977448732006-10-31T11:36:00.000-05:002006-10-31T11:36:00.000-05:00How much will the mini-pump be? Fair warning: With time the wrap stitching will begin to unravel. A little super glue on the thread will prevent it. It's a bitch to fix once it starts.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
