TCO is really a problem at the mid-point of the wheel where the fender is at its closest point to the pedal. Mounting the stays lower on the fender should eliminate any interference. This is another benefit of long fenders. If there is still fender/pedal interference this is the result of the frame design not the fenders.ChrisCullumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08645176987387516756noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24415034.post-19287704801317118262007-07-31T10:01:00.000-04:002007-07-31T10:01:00.000-04:00oops, disregard. looked right past it.oops, disregard. looked right past it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24415034.post-74322770233213935172007-07-31T10:00:00.000-04:002007-07-31T10:00:00.000-04:00What is the country of origin? What is the country of origin?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24415034.post-16662919679957739822007-07-30T23:45:00.000-04:002007-07-30T23:45:00.000-04:00"TCO" issues?"TCO" issues?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14924675803713552495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24415034.post-86582488539378722112007-07-30T14:30:00.000-04:002007-07-30T14:30:00.000-04:00Exactly what I've been waiting for!Exactly what I've been waiting for!K Matthiashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10302994067650991669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24415034.post-27712460117131329522007-07-30T08:43:00.000-04:002007-07-30T08:43:00.000-04:00I need wider fenders 65 -70 wide for my LYNSKEY cu...I need wider fenders 65 -70 wide for my LYNSKEY custom . I'd have ordered them if I had not not already gotten the Honjos (may get a pair later anyway-- the price is sure right!).
My only suggestion for future runs would be to have the mounting hole for the fork predrilled and the fender pre-flattened at the fork crown. The flat spot in particular is too hard for most people to get right manually. The Berthound stainless fenders do this, and are sure a lot easier to mount than the Honjos (they have better stays and hardware too, BTW, causing fewer TCO issues-- I ended up mating my Honjos to a set of Berthound stays and hardware to eliminate TCO).

Cheers,

JAQAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24415034.post-2892429877849762212007-07-30T01:07:00.000-04:002007-07-30T01:07:00.000-04:00How do you affix the stay to the fender? How do you affix the stay to the fender?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24415034.post-11715319981267914632007-07-29T19:43:00.000-04:002007-07-29T19:43:00.000-04:0067mm fenders? for 29er wheels?67mm fenders? for 29er wheels?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24415034.post-2823540006630017882007-07-29T13:36:00.000-04:002007-07-29T13:36:00.000-04:00Lesli, I hope you and your bike are okay. Our Honjo 650B, and other, models have been made and should soon be on a ship heading across the Pacific.

Anon, I can get these made in 67mm, but I wonder if we would ever sell enough to justify the cost. How many folks want fenders that wide?

Beth, I don't have any of those brakes to check.
