Just a few things

guest post by Alec Burney

Although Chris has stepped out for a few weeks, we still have lots of news.

There's a new video online, and more will be up in the next few weeks. What would you like to see on our Vimeo channel? We're working on some more instructionals and fun things, but are interested to know what people would like to see most.
Robert's cyclocross bike - Challenge tubulars, VO stem, VO cable housing..

Scott's Gunnar - speedy randonneur bike.
Kristin's Chicago Schwinn Commuter.
Kyle's touring bike - VO Polyvalent.

You've probably noticed that we've got a lot of VO parts and frames. This isn't because we get a great deal on them (it helps), but because we're serious about our products. We make the stuff we like and want, and test parts thoroughly by strapping them to our own bikes to discover what works and fix what doesn't.

Wishing you all a good weekend,

Are these staff member bikes? If so, can you tell me what saddle bag that is on Scott's Randonneur?
thanks.

What bars are on Robert's bike?

Kyle, that's a spicy touring bike. Steven Tyler give clues to dressing your stem?

What about a YouTube channel? I work there and could guide you in best practices!

What about a YouTube channel? I love Velo-Orange and never pass on an opp to advocate for my current employer. :)

@gypsynicholas ya man, usually there's more silk scarves flowing behind me as I ride along, ironically crooning "Walk This Way" at the top of my lungs. Sadly, the bike has undergone serious handlebar renovations and is now more of a rivendell inspired setup. I guess that means I've gone from Stephen Tyler to Liv Tyler (get it? Cuz she was in Lord of the Rings? I crack myself up...)

@Kevin, those are the Salsa Woodchipper bars, the only bars at the local races wrapped in shellaced Tressostar cloth tape. They are nice bars, extra wide and curvy.

I too want to know what the saddle bag is on the Gunnar - looks good and useful...

nice, kyle. The "Arwen Undómiel" doesn't really sound like a marketable bike though. Perhaps her pseudonym, Evenstar, would stick.

The saddle bag is a Carousel Design Works small escape pod.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for using vimeo. It is a fantastic video hosting site and a great community. I always explain it to friends as "the good youtube" for people who make real content.
